Cut The Crap And Start Enjoying Life

Oh boy, here it comes again another enjoy life post. Yep, you are right because I will never understand what took me so long to stop and enjoy every moment of breath I have been given. It is so easy to wake up with a ton of complaints and trust me I have my share of things I want to sit down and complain about. But at the end of the day life is too short and I have already lived 46 years of the 90 to 100 I may have left. #Prayerfully. So, here are my two cents on how to cut the crap out of your life so you can start enjoying your best life NOW!
Disclaimer I am not a Dr. nor do I have a Ph.D. in anything. Ok, I do have a Ph.D. in street knowledge, but I can't get paid for that. My two cents are my opinions only, so please take what I say with a grain of salt.

Open The Blinds In Your Home
I know this may sound crazy but outside light coming into your home will start your positive juices to flow.
In the morning I hit the floor and open up my blinds so I can see the beauty of the leaves changing the trees outside. I believe how I start my morning will dictate my day.

Stop Apologizing For Everything
I have made a conscious decision to stop apologizing for having the desire to enjoy my life. The moment I made up in my mind to take control of my life was the moment so many people in my life said no one is enjoying life every day. WRONG! That is a lie  I genuinely believe a person can enjoy every moment of their life. Enjoying life has nothing to do with bills, where a person lives or their status in life. Enjoying life has to do with how a person being myself handles all the things life brings.

Block Out The Negative Riff Raff
Oh!, this is a hard one, but with a little practice, it can become an easy thing to do. I was flipping through some of our old family pictures, and I started to cry. I was not focusing on the things that really matter. While flipping through I was watching my girls laugh and hug me with such joy and happiness in their eyes. My tears were not about the pictures it was more of those were the moments I enjoyed. It was at that moment I realized I created happy moments through photos and I can live those memories at any time. I encourage you guys to find something that will bring back good memories and start right there by reliving that moment in your mind. It took me a long time to realize I was focusing on so much of the negative stuff about life until I wasn't living my best life.
I try very hard to block out my own negative thoughts by focusing on the positive things that can help me enjoy more of the day.

I will say this in every post that I write, life is short, and we only have a short time to embrace it and enjoy every moment
of it.

Here are a few quick tips on things that will help us all enjoy life a little easier
Start a journal to keep happy thoughts.
Take a  walk and breathe some fresh air.
Start a new hobby in your free time.
Book a free trip or go to a movie.
Call a friend or family member.
Start over in your life, it is never too late!
Read a book on how to enjoy life.
Surround yourself with people who want to enjoy life also.
Remove things that are not fulfilling to your life such as a dead end job. You really can find something better.
Stop complaining and make some changes.
Try window shopping
Buy yourself something that you've always wanted
It's ok to splurge
Go shopping
Try a new store
Take a scenic route home
Small changes in life will help all of us see and enjoy life differently.

Stop waiting to exhale
Try roller skating.
Treat yourself to something sweet.
Write a book.
Get up and do something that will bring you joy.
Stop procrastinating and wasting time.
Every day we are given 24 hours to do what is needed in life. The first few minutes need to be all yours to wake up, breath, be thankful and unwind for the day.
Most of us work at least 8 hours a day, so we have very little time to enjoy. How will you spend the remainder of your 16 hours? I can not speak for anyone else, but I want to enjoy mine. In reality, I do not have 16 hours to give away to nonsense and here is why. After work, I pick up the kids, while driving on the freeway I am thinking about what I will cook for tonights dinner. By the time I make it home, it is almost nightfall. So, I lay out my clothes for the next day, take a quick shower, feed the kids. By the time  8 pm gets close I have already done most of my 24 hours. If you think about it, my schedule is downright dull. But if you pay close attention, you will see how I can quickly fall into a life of non-enjoyment.
Time is moving so fast, and most of us are just drifting with the season. In other words, when I started to look at my day and night schedule, I began to realize my life was going in the same direction every single day. No joke I was taking the same route home, cooking the same food every day of the week, wearing the same color and shoes to work. Before I knew it, I was living a borning none fulfilled sad life.

I am going to make some changes
That is precisely what I did. I've made a few changes to my life so I could start enjoying my regular and straightforward life. There are no secrets to enjoying life, I believe we all have to tweak where we are at this moment in time.
How are you enjoying your life?

Until next time see you right here on Bits and Babbles
