Funny Photo Booth Pics With A Side Of Motivation

Do you ever look at yourself in the mirror and burst out laughing? Well, that was me the other morning while I was getting dressed to leave the house with my daughter Carey. I found myself bursting into uncontrollable laughter. Not because I was happy more because everything was going in the opposite direction of having a good day.
Motivation- The reason or reasons one has for acting or behaving in a particular way

Before I can start my motivate yourself speech, let's talk about how challenging it was to get my morning started. First, my monthly period came early, on top of that, I felt extra bloated, crampy, grumpy and I wanted to cry every five minutes. To add more insult to my day, I thumped my big toe right before putting on my boots.
The flip side of my dilemma was I started to stay home until...

Carey said mom get it together, how can you motivate someone else if you can't encourage yourself?
Although I knew she was right, I still wanted to crawl back into my bed and have a self-pity party. You know that party where I so dearly tried to blame everybody else for my morning going into left field. Besides, I   may not have wanted to leave the house at all.

Because I felt a whelming rush of anger and anxiety come over me.
So, I asked my daughter if I could sit down for ten more minutes before leaving the house.
But, if any of you know about anxiety, it took me another hour to get up and go to my car so we could get out the house.

By the time I made it out and about I felt refreshed and ready for some fun. I just needed to get out and get some outside vitamin D. It's funny sometimes in life we look for others to motivate us when all we need is a little motivation by looking in the mirror to see the best in ourselves.

Upon shopping my daughter and I came across a photo booth. So, I allowed her to twist my arm for a few selfie pictures. The funny part was I couldn't keep up with the quick snaps, and I really did have some funny and not prepared photos.

Every time I look at my weird and awkward poses I burst into laughter because life is straightforward. Get up get out and do something small that will motivate you. One thing I did learn from my daughter is no can inspire if they are not full of motivation themselves. That is a hard pill to swallow, but it is downright the truth. We all have rough days its how we handle them will make all the difference in the outcome.

Here are a few of my own personal notes I will share with you guys that help keep me motivated.
Within the one hour, I took that morning to gather my thoughts. I jotted down some things that got me through the day.

#1 Deal with any sadness immediately- what am I really upset about. Is it because I thumped my toe? Or is it because I really didn't want to shop today?

#2 Ask for help- from family members, spouse or a Dr. if needed

#3 Make time for five minutes to pray and meditate

#4 Get out the house for natural fresh air

#6 Open your blinds for sunlight to shine through

#6 Do something fun such as jumping into a crazy photo booth or grab your camera take a few funny pics and laugh out loud at yourself.

In conclusion, as much as I would love to blame others for my mood swings. I have to be honest I was only having a bad day. I know this because once I got some fresh air and a little laughter in for the day, I felt rejuvenated and happy again. Also, I do not take having anxiety lightly so if you need help please seek it. This post is my opinion and my personal experience.

Life is too short, so find a few good reasons to start enjoying every moment each day.

How do you motivate yourself?

Until Next Time See Ya In A Bit!
