The Pink Lipsticks I Am Currently Trying

A Few Beauty Bits I Picked Up While Shopping In The City
As of right now, I have been wearing the same two dark lip colors, red, and burgundy. So, I decided to go out and try on a few summer pink colors. I know what you may be thinking, why so many? Well, it was not my plan, but I couldn't decide on the texture, feel or exact color I wanted to buy. So...

I did what any ordinary woman would do, I bought several shades to try.
Thus far I have been wearing my red lip matte color all season, and I really want a new look. With the summer fast approaching, I prefer to wear a more subtle almost nude peachy pink lip stain as my summer go to look.

When it comes to my lip colors, I am more into the feeling of loving it rather than whose name is attached.
That may sound a little weird, but when you think about it, it's not strange at all. Michael Kors Verses Stila, who cares I want the one that works.

I stopped counting the different shades of pink versus the high end and low-end names attached. Meaning some lipsticks can run for $1 to $48 and beyond. Although I am not in a position to say prices don't matter.
I lean more toward what works and what is budget friendly. Yes, I am a coin counter.
What I look for when trying on lip colors f is longer staying power and is it smudge proof.

If I can find something that outlasts my morning coffee without coming off, I am a happy woman.
So, I went for the light and medium dark toned matte pinks. I bought two shades because each one delivers a different look. After trying them both, I leaned more toward the light color for day and the dark one for night. As you can see by the picture above, they both look amazing.

After trying on so many colors, my lips were super tender. So, I picked up a sugar lip scrub. To remove all the dead skin from my lips later on in the week.
I am not a big fan of no particular one on the market because the ones I've tried have done a great job. If I run out I just merely mix brown sugar and honey together, and that mixture works just as good if not better.
One thing I try to remember is to always pre-moisten my lips before any dry scrub.

Moving forward I could not walk out the store without getting my NYX lingerie lip cream. Yes, it looks the same, but it has a velvet feel with a peach nude appearance. So, in the bag, it went.

The other day I was shopping at a local store named 5 below. Let me pause and just say please don't sleep on $2 lip colors. I hit the jackpot with a beautiful pink. I must add that the color doesn't stay on all day, but it is gorgeous on my lips.

So I will let this one pass for a quick summer look when needed.

Last but not least lately I have loved a glossy lip. So, while I was in Sally's beauty supply, I stumbled upon the Blitz gloss, and it is a shiny one, to say the least.

I can wear the Blitz gloss by itself or on top of any other light color. I am pleased with the purchases I've made, and I am happy with the summer pinks and the way they look and feel on my lips.

That will complete all the pink lipsticks I am currently trying.

Which one did you like?

Until Next Time...See Ya In A Bit!
