Three Right Now Happy Thoughts

Positive Self Talk

Hello Everybody! Who woke up this morning in a terrific mood? You know that feeling that makes you hit the floor singing Oh Happy Days.
Well, I am sharing a few happy thoughts that we all can use right now.
I can not speak for anyone else in the world when it comes to waking up feeling bushy tailed and happy all the time. But I can share my views as to waking up on the right side of the bed. One thing I have learned about life is that it does become simpler if  I push toward the wonderful parts of life.

Disclaimer: I am not a psychiatrist or professional Dr., but I do have a P.h.d for spending many years sad and unhappy. So there you have it my street cred for being on the struggle bus, and I promise I am qualified. I've bought the shirt, worn it and now its time to burn it. Ok, I smoked it a few years ago. :}

Now that I have cleared up all my credentials let's jump right on into this, shall we?

One thing I've learned over the years is that it's important to exhale before I do anything else. Also, unplug from the phone and social media for the first part of the morning. I find if I open my phone or answer any calls before I start my own personal thoughts. Its possible I may start my day off on the wrong side of the bed. This is not a cookie cutter post today, it is my reality, and this is how I plan out and control my own happiness.

Here is my plan: After I close my eyes pray and meditate for 3 mins. I start my day like this.

My first Happy Thought to myself: today is going to be a good day by any means necessary.

Side Note: I know things may arise that will cause me to go left, But when I start my day off right I have learned to better handle a situation when it rises. Therefore I look forward to having a good day by speaking into my own life first. I always thank God for allowing me to see another day. So, I want to use my full day positively and happily.

My second Happy Thought to myself: I am a good person. Therefore, I want to attract happy and self-motivated women or men friends in my life.

Side Note: When I used to be negative all the time or had a sad song to sing every day. I attracted those type of people who just happen to be broke down with me. No disrespect but if we all are depressed, sad and tired all the time, there can never be any sunshine.

At the end of the day, happy people stay away from people who are always unhappy. I can attest to that, there was no one for me when I was acting like a Debbie Downer. Seriously, the moment I started talking and working toward becoming happy things start happening for me, and I attracted like-minded people. #realtalk

I struggled a lot as a young woman, and I know that had a lot to do with my hatred and unhappiness over the years. And at the end of the day, what person would want to hang with me if I'm not trying to lift my own spirit.

My third Happy Thought to myself: Today I will make someone else smile today.

Side note: I know that third one sounds cheesy but hear me out. When was the last time you went into work and told another woman how pretty she looks? Or how much you like her style? It doesn't have to be that vain either. It can be as simple as saying to someone "Today you are going to have a good day."

Let's face it life can be busy, and we are all on a fast hustle and bustle track. But when I think about it, what am I doing every day to brighten someone else's day?
And I do not know about anyone else but making someone else smile always make me feel happy.

There you have it Three Right Now Happy Thoughts

How do you start your Happy Days, please share?
