A Little Morning Do It Yourself Inspiration

Be inspired by the small things of Life!
Sometimes I make things when I am bored, at least that is what I tell myself.
In all honesty, doing a do it yourself project keeps me busy, and I do not mind sharing that craft, because it makes me happy.  I absolutely love hanging out in craft stores and crafting festivals. I started peddling around with jewelry pieces as a way to stay focused when I was in idle time. In other words, if I am not at work, I find something to keep me occupied.

On my days off I make it a habit not to sleep all day or lounge in frumpy clothing. My biggest secret is getting up, having my morning brew and pulling out my DIY kit and make something that is easy and simple. I share this because for me making things in quiet times keeps my mind on the things that bring peace and happiness. When I share something or make something, it really does keep my mind stress free and my anxiety at bay doing my alone times.

Today's project is all about the seashells and beach vibes. The items needed for this quick DIY comes from Michael's Craft store.

You will need:
Bead Landing- Bottle Domes
Seashells
clear glue -optional
Necklace Chain of Choice
Sometimes I use charms, sand or I use tiny rocks from outdoors. The cost of this makes it yourself necklace is under 8 dollars. Now that is a win to get happy about.

Gather all items, open dome tops and fill with all the desired things. Then pop the lid back onto the base. Yes, you can add a little clear glass glue to seal the edges for more security.

The last step is the easiest, slide any type of chain through the hole and enjoy your necklace.

  3. Those look really nice. I’ve never made my own jewelry before. I agree, I like to start my day early with a cup of coffee, put on the news. Blog a little before the family wakes up and then I start my day running around as mom.
