Weekend Accessories:To Spice Up My Style + Try On

Hey guys, welcome back to another weekend and I hope you have a blessed one thus far? Since the weather is on the breezy side here in Texas, I've decided to dress up and try on a few accessories that I plan to wear with the same outfit over and over again. Yes, I am a repeat outfit wearer, and I am not ashamed of it. Do you restyle the same clothing?
Hey guys, welcome back to another weekend and I hope you have a blessed one thus far? Since the weather is on the breezy side here in Texas, I've decided to dress up and try on a few accessories that I plan to wear with the same outfit over and over again. Yes, I am a repeat outfit wearer, and I am not ashamed of it.

Do you restyle the same clothing?
I find it much easier to redo my same old style by adding new and cute accessories that will spice up my style. I find it fun to do and relaxing, but the best part of it all, I am saving money by looking at my style with a new set of eyes.
Today, I am wearing my last summer black jumpsuit that I paired with my brown faux leather jacket.
It is tricky sometimes pairing browns with black, but I think I nailed it with a solid jacket instead of a long trench coat.
I felt going short with my cover items wouldn't overpower the black outfit I was wearing. Since I will be out visiting and shopping, I wanted to wear a crossbody instead of a regular hand-held purse.
So, I opted to use a thrift bag I got recently. I adore the multi-colors that are in it, and I think it paired well with the look I was going for, which is causal relaxed and comfortable.

When it comes to earrings, I will play it up to the fullest. The funny thing is my accessories do not have to be in style or trending on the net. If I like something, I will find a way to pile it into my outfit picks of the day. To be honest, I have been falling in love with anything faux, and that is why when I saw these gold leather earrings, I had to grab them.
There was a clearance sale at EarthBound, and for the price of 8 dollars, I knew they were for me.

I will never stop having a love for dangly things hanging from my ears. The pair in the picture above became my favorite because of the pop of blue that was attached. Since I am wearing black clothing and brown outerwear and accessories, I was thinking a little color would break up all the solid I was wearing.
What do you think of the earrings I am trying on?

I wanted to wear a black pair of booties so badly but after putting on the brown. I felt my decision was great because it made me look and appear pulled together from the top to the bottom. I also loved the chunky heel for comfort and balance to walk around the mall.

Since winter is my least favorite season, I tend to dress a little frumpy at times. Hey, it happens sometimes, but I am ok with it because work, mommy, and wife life sometimes get in the way. That is why it is much easier to accessorize what I already have so I can stay fly on the go. I do not like it, and here's why. Firstly, I love the accessories to pieces, but the way I styled this one was a little too mashed together. Look closely at the picture I am wearing a solid outfit that I paired with a solid black jacket, with long black boots and a vintage black and white lunch box purse. Not to mention the black gloves and the scarf, I was definitely in overkill with this one.

What do you think I should have done differently?
One option could have been a lower shoe or boot maybe with a little color. A big handbag with a bit of yellow and orange to match the earrings.

I will be playing with this look again. But overall there you have it my weekend accessories to spice up my style + try on.

Last but not least, I want to share a few of my own personal opinions. Style can sometimes be overrated if focused on the things shown from the interweb and watching TV.

To be frank, I am dressing as though I am hitting the runway in Paris. That is not real life and in reality who cares. I want to wear stylish, yet comfortable, so I can enjoy the places and people I am going to see and share my time with. I am into a style that represents who I am and one that I can share to inspire others to step out the box.
There will be days I am happy with what I wear and somedays I am not. That is why I wore outfit #2 with pure happiness. I didn't care much about it because I was so busy having fun. You know what's funny I got more compliments on the outfit I hated the most. Thus, the moral of the story is there are no rules to style. I am learning to wear what I like, and that is all that matters.

Life is about having fun and enjoying the ride:)

Until Next Time See Ya In A Bit!
