Tried On The Face: Three New Drugstore Facial Products That Has Given Me Pillow Soft Skin

I am so ready for old man winter to freeze away so I can enjoy a day or two without dealing with my dry, itchy skin. Although I have had no eczema flare-ups since December, I am still conscious of the products I use on my face and body. One wrong ingredient can kick me into a scratching frenzy. So, I have spent the last two years, second by minute, trying different things on my skin. Some have been a complete fail, and some have helped a little.
After an extended test of trying things, I finally found what moisturizes my body, such as my back and legs. I started using the Cervae in the jar and pure sunflower seed oil mix.
My skin has been so soft, and it stays moisturized, which keeps my body from feeling dry, cracked, and itchy.

Moving forward, I did not like using the mixture I use on my body on my face. The combination I mixed felt better on my body, but it felt heavy on my face.
It never donned on me to try the whole line of Cervae products by all means the jar moisture did work for me.
I do have some good products I am using, such as my oatmeal bar, Clinique and Laroche Posay. But I want something that has ceramides, and hyaluronic acid, which moisturizes and helps restore the protective skin barrier.
When my skin is dry and thirsty, it makes it prone to extreme dryness, which then turns into possible eczema.

Although I love my luxury products, I do realize I need something that is going to work even if it cost less. Paying more doesn't mean its better.
And I want what is best and what can help me feel better and look better as well. And I think I may have found something that I can rotate on my skincare regimen.
With Spring fast approaching, I know its time for a switch up anyways. So, I went into Target and spent one hour reading and checking reviews on the Cervae line of products for myself. Oh my goodness, they have so many products from normal to dry skin, lightweight, moisture balance, and so on. It was a lot to choose from. The best part is they each did something different for the skin.
After quite some time, I finally found the three things that I wanted to try on my face and neck.

First, I would like to add Cervae is not cheap at all. Depending on where you go, it was a bit pricey for drugstore prices but more affordable than Ulta and Sephora. So, I suggest you should do a  price compare. This only my honest opinion and review.

The first thing I purchased was the Hydrating Facial Cleanser: The results after two weeks have made an enormous difference in the texture and feel of my skin. I did get the one that is for normal to dry skin. Because of the bottle saying it cleanses, hydrates and helps restore the protective skin barrier. Also, it has three essential ceramides with hyaluronic acid included which helps with moisture balance. I also chose the Cervae line of products because it is fragrance-free and non-comedogenic which won't clog pores.

After several uses, I saw and felt my skin go from dry to feel soft as a fluffy pillow. (Not joking)
Image: Woman shaaring a review about daily moisturizing lotion. After using the cleanser, I always follow up with a moisturizer. Since my skin is picky I try to use the same steps and products that go together. In other words, I try not to mix products with other stuff. Especially doing those times when my skin is acting up. I grabbed the lightweight moisturizer because I didn't want anything too heavy at the moment. It has the same ingredients that help protect the skin just as the cleanser. It also says use as much as needed. So, I am not limited to once a day

After I use the moisturizer, I follow up with their Skin Renewing Gel Oil.

Image: Woman holding CeraVe Oil for review. Oh my goodness this is a bit of heaven in a jar. I am not playing with you guys. it's small and a bit pricey (runs around 22 dollars) but it is so worth it. If you want that glowy and dewy skin feel and look. Hands down this are the product to grab. I will be buying two more bottles to keep under my cabinets. Because when I find something that is good and it works I will buy me a stash to keep as if the store is going to stop selling it. It has a silky and velvety feel that instantly improves skin radiance. After trying it, I can say it does just what it promises.

It is a ceramide boost with ceraplex, a unique 5 ceramide & sunflower blend.
What I love about Cervae it has everything my skin needs without purchasing everything separately. Their cleansing process is only the steps, cleanse, moisturize, and adds oil.

I am very familiar with all the things used in their products, such as hyaluronic, which most products do not have included in their creams. If it's not covered, I have to buy it separately, and that just adds up to more money.

Hyaluronic acid locks in moisture and helps firm the skin. It is perfect, and I do have a separate bottle that I get from Trader Joe's.

So, I can honestly say these three products are worth me sharing on Bits and Babbles. I purchased all these products with my own money, and this is a real-time review.

In conclusion: As I've gotten older, my skin has been going through so many changes. I can not use the same products as I did when I was in my twenties. That is not a bad thing; it only means I need to focus on what works and not whats for hype, I need hydration and moisture, so I have to be careful of the products that remove my natural oils that are required to protect my aging skin.

Yes, it is that serious. I hope this post was helpful to someone who is going through with skin problems. Let me know if you have tried these products.
