I Bought New Shoes Without My Husband Knowing: So I Am Showing The Internet-First!

I have a  confession to make; I am a hoarder and a professional shoe hider. Yep, that's me, I buy lots of shoes and hide them from my husband. Honestly, I feel guilty sometimes, but  I am doing it so my feet can look good. That is my excuse, and I am sticking to it.

Before you go and judge me, please hear me out. I have at least two genuinely valid excuses.

  1. I can never pass by the sales or clearance racks. I've tried to stay focused when going shopping for my house basics. You know that stuff we all need, toilet paper, soap, and toothpaste. Yea, that stuff that I think my family eats or throws it away because I swear I am in Cosco more than I am at work. Nonetheless, back to the shoes that I just bought from several stores.
I pinky swear I tried not to buy, but I went into several stores that had sales so low even the devil would try and put his hot feet in a pair. :)

I was intentionally going with my oldest daughter shopping so she could pick up a few things, but honey, when I found a pair of boots for $10 in size 10, I lost all my integrity and self-control.

So, I ran back up to the front of the store and grabbed myself a basket so I can load up on a few deals. In two hours I bought five pairs of shoes and of course I am not telling my husband. It's ok because it was a deal, right?

Anyhoot I did it for you guys and its only about right. I babble about it. Lol :) Ok, all jokes aside, my husband is used to me buying and hiding stuff.

2. Besides, I have big feet, and when there is a sale, I must comply and buy. No, seriously, I can never find cute shoes that fit my big ole' foot. :)  So when I see a pair or two, I have to grab them all within reason.

The places that have the most sales right now is Buckle, Cato Fashions, Old Navy & Target.

The shoes that are listed above in this picture came from Buckle's shoes. They are open in the back with a thick heel that can support my thick calves.

Seriously when you go shopping head straight to the sales racks. Let me know if you see any clearance deals I should know about. :)

There you have it everything I bought with my husband's money. I may tell my hubs one day, but in the meantime, I will continue to hide my purchases in the closet, under the bed, and in our storage bin.

Thanks for hanging out with me today and remember laughter is good for the soul. So stay up and live life on the lighter side.
