A Few Joyful Things On My List That Involved Chickens + More Morning Babbles.

Hey, Y'all hope all is going well in your life. I decided to share a few joyful things today. No matter what you read on here, try not to judge me too harshly. Lol :)

Call me crazy, but I went to a local farm and couldn't describe most of the animals. Seriously, please do not judge me, because I am still arguing with my kids about the two birds in the top picture.
Are they two roosters or two chickens?
I have no shame I think its a rooster, which one do you think?

You do know I am pulling Yall's legs right? :)

You know, life is hilarious. I low key knew what type of birds I was looking at, but I wanted to keep our conversation going. So, I acted as if I knew nothing so each child could explain it to me.

I am still laughing on the inside because my kiddos thought I was that dumb. Oh, the joyful moments I am gathering up in life.

But on the flip side, I did get to enjoy seeing my first real live turkey. I have never seen one in person, and I think I am scared a bit. After watching him interact with my family and me. I do not believe I can have turkey and dressing with all the trimmings this Father's Day. So, as of now, I am thinking of another dish we can eat. #savetheturkey
Wait! I am not giving up my meat, only the ones that walk and flap their wings saying gobble-gobble. Weirdly, they don't want to be eaten, but they tell people to gobble. Help me understand.
Oh, the joy of life.

I also finally got up close and personal to a live moving butterfly in a bed of flowers. Now, I must admit this little fellow wasn't the cutest. But nonetheless, I was able to get a good picture of the butterflies.

In other joyful news, it started raining on us today. Unfortunately, my hair got wet, and now I have a mini blonde fro. Thank goodness I am a hairstylist and I will be working my magic in the morning at the salon.

Also, my daughter Moriah lost a tooth, and the tooth fairy parents ( me and her dad) put 6 dollars under her pillow. She woke up dancing as if Beyonce came by and left her the keys to her beyhive mansion.

I guess I will wait until she twenty before I tell her the truth about the tooth fairy. Yep, I plan to string her alone as long as possible.

The other week I weighed myself just to discover I've gained two pounds. I contribute that to eating those Mrs. Edwards lemon pies at night.
I am going, to be honest with you guys I have no intentions of giving up pies at the moment.
Come on it is one of life's small little joys that I get to enjoy from time to time, although my thighs enjoy it better.

But, hey, I am enjoying life, and my family at the moment.

In conclusion: As I am aging, I am learning to find joy in the smallest things that happen in my life. Life is to short not to be enjoying the laughter that comes from looking at chickens. No matter how you find your joy, just grab you some and enjoy every moment you cam. I am, and although all my days are not joyous. I plan to enjoy all the ones that are.

And that is all that matters right?

So, there you have it all the small little things on my list that brought me joy this week. Yep, just a few Morning Babbles to get your day started.

What are your little joys please do share?

Until Next Time See Ya In A Bit!
