A Few Shared Weekend Bits Over Coffee: Did, See And Finds!

Good morning, the weekend is gone, and the weather is cooler over here in my neck of the woods. Glad you stopped by for a few of my weekend bits over coffee.
I do not know about you, but I can never get my day started without a cup of coffee.
Yes, I have tried many times back in the day to give up being a caffeinated addict, let's just say I've #failed.
But, I must admit I am a failure at most of the things that go on in my life. LOL:)
And, I am not ashamed because over the years I have learned how to get back up and brush my backside off and start over. #thatslife #thatshowIstartover #morningcoffeechat #coffeefailure

Nonetheless, here's to a few shared weekend bits.

The girls and I went out for a late trolley ride and ice-cream in the city. Sometimes I find it more relaxing when I do not have any plans of doing anything with myself. Lately, I have been getting to know and appreciate being outdoors with fresh air. A little sightseeing ain't never hurt nobody. :)

I was determined to do nothing besides relax, window shop and eat ice-cream. Trust me that's a good day when I can be off and do absolutely nothing.
And, yes I planned it this way.

Got a chance to have my favorite Gelato from Paciguio Gelato in the flavor peppermint and cheesecake. Yes, it was heavenly!

Some of the best laughs came from this weekend when I was out walking the sidewalks with my girls, Chloe, Carey, Moriah, and Mori. Let me tell you, these kiddos of mine get my feet in the air. But, I wouldn't change it for nothing in the world. Besides, a little walk outside has never hurt me:)

Yesterday, I did have to return my Mac make-up press powder for a lighter shade. I didn't notice until the second use after a few hours my skin was looking grey and dark. So, I just exchanged from NC45 to NC43. Honestly, I thought I had the right color because I went in and did a swatch test. But, after wearing out in real sunlight, it looked different. But, hey, that happens sometimes, thank goodness for returns.
I think I may have hit the jackpot with my new shade. Also, I finally built up a few points and was able to pick out a new lip color.
As, usual I was all over the pink colors, so I got a free matte moxie pink.
I have not tried it on yet, but I will let you know how it really looks on my skin tone. Love it so far!

Also, besides wearing my yellow pants, look at what I got from Target in the above picture. This denim dress has been on repeat all summer long, and you guys know it. Yes, honey, I 'm not afraid of restyling and re-wearing what I already have in my closet.
It's hot outside, and I do not want to spend a lot of time putting on layers of clothing.

Besides, can't you tell I love off the shoulders dresses and tops?
Although I have worn this dress one million times, each time my husband (Rico) asks me if I bought something new?
LOL:) I do not trust him and that question, because I think he may have been checking to see if I got something new recently. :)
And, yes, I did. But, I did not tell the hubs. #sneakywife

Ladies, you know when you pass a window and see a 5 dollar sale you have to stop. Hear me out because I have a good excuse.
Most of you know I have a weakness for thrifts and vintage shopping. So, there was no way on earth, I could pass a window and not stop when it clearly says, "Come In We Have A Sale."
LOL") That is my excuse, and I am sticking to it!

Anywho, I have a pair of earrings at home that I knew would pair well with this secondhand-handbag. And I am glad I snatched it right off the mannequin.
Besides, I knew I only had one chance to make up my mind.
So, I took a leap of shopping faith and purchased the crossbody bag. Yall it was calling my name.

And, honestly, I was right, the match was almost too perfect. Do you remember a while back I bought these bijoux from Jcpenney? I never wore them because I couldn't match my purse with it. So, I placed them in my drawer, well this weekend I found the perfect little bag that made my whole outfit look brand new again. Can you believe I paid on 10 dollars with a bit of tax included?

There you have it a few shared weekend bits over my morning coffee.

In conclusion: My two days off was about much of nothing, but it was important that I only do what brought me a little happiness. Life is too short to do anything less than that. I got to spend a lot of time with family, over these few days doing nothing and I am so happy about that. I think for once I've learned to sit down and unwind for a change.

How was your weekend?

Hope your Monday is off to a great start?

Until Next Time See Ya In A Bit!
