I Wore This One Item To The Ground + The Patch Bag That Changed My Thoughts About Style!

Oh, wait is it Monday already, and did  I missed saying Hello to you Darlings on today? Hey, Ya'll Hey!
Well, I must admit I was not ready to be knocked all the way into the 5th of August. Geez, the time and days are going by so fast.
I swear I feel as tho Rico and I just paid the monthly bills.
And, now we are already one week into the month, EEk adulting is hard. LOL:)

Anywho, I am up getting ready to hit the Dallas Tollway heading into work. Last night, while prepping my clothes, I realized I have quite a few pieces I have worn down to the ground and back. #notembarrassed
Honestly, one item needs to be tossed in the trash, but it is my favorite piece to wear.

Please tell me I am not the only one who buys one or two things that look the same just so it can be on repeat/re-wear?
Ugh, I must admit that it is me, and I can not help it at all. Trust me, I have a valid excuse, and I think two of you may agree. Although I know more than a few people who follow the same method as I do.

It is no secret I love a good ole' clearance rack sale, but I will not bore you guys with that story again. But, if you do not bargain shopping, you are truly missing out. Ok here's the deal at the moment.
I got style, you got a style we all got style, but I do not spend a lot of money on my style. I'm frugal yall, that's all folks. I prefer looking for clothing and jewelry; I know I will reuse over and over again.

One item, I am loving, and this poor thing has been on continuous repeat. It has been this jumper that is pictured up top. The most comfortable piece of clothing I own as of yet, and I got it from Old Navy.
It is an XL, and I bought the last two that were in my size for 15 dollars. I always buy more than one in my size because extra-large clothes are the hardest sizes to find for me. I guess the stores haven't caught on that the real world is not a size 2.
But that is another story that is debatable amongst the fashion industry.

But, we all know the truth. HA! This summer, I kept this jumper on and restyled it many times. Can you believe I can even transition it into the Fall season? Watch me do it!:) I maintain the dark black look by washing it on gentle cycle, hang to dry and starch by hand. Both of my suits look spanking brand new, and I've worn them the entire summer.

The funny thing is I look totally different every time I swap out accessories, rings, shoes, and handbags. Today I am popping back on my sun and moon earrings I got from Amazon on the low. I believe earrings always change the game for me, and I love it. Do you like the ear candy I am wearing today?

One of my favorite items this year is when I found this cute patch crossbody bag from one of my thrift excursions. My two oldest daughters started me to wearing over the shoulder purses. Because I am a person, who thinks I can only wear a big duffle type style purse.

So, when I saw this bag that is pictured up top, my intentions were to cut those patches off and make earrings. Yep, that's the DIY'er in me and trust me I can not help that. But, after getting it home, my daughters showed me a few new ways to rock it, and now I love it so much.

I have found several ways to wear, and I can even toss across my black outfits. I have changed my mind about the way I plan to pair it with my clothes. I think I didn't like it at first because I couldn't see the vision when it came to dressing it up or down. Oh, honey now I have a few more dresses I will be layering it with. This patch bag will also definitely be on my Fall repeat list.

I already know there are a million ways to wear brown and patches with black. But, I had to change my thoughts about that for myself. Since I am used to putting bright colors on with my black clothing.
Oh and my brown shoes came from a store called Buckle, yes they are online.

I am so happy with the re-worn and straightforward way I've styled myself this summer. And that is what my life is all about. Dressing, fun, comfortable, and frugal. Now, that's my style story, and I am sticking to it!

Do you have a favorite outfit that you keep on repeat?
