Make These Three Coffees: Do Not Do The Third One - It's Ugly!
Hey Hiya, Happy Fri-Yay friends! Hope all is chello, you know groovy, swell, alright, and dynamite? So, I thought I would slip and slide on the blog today and share my three favorite cafe coffee drinks I love to make at home. But, before we get started, I must confess the third coffee turned out downright UGLY.
Have you ever made something no so pretty, but it tastes so good? Yea that is precisely what has happened to me today.
But, moving forward. I am a bonafide cafe gal who loves a cute frappe or a cup of coffee with my friends. Hands down, that is only for brunch dates and dates with my bae. Because buying gourmet drinks can get pretty expensive if done regularly. So, over the last few years, I've been making my own specialty drinks. And my gosh, I think I have mastered making my own hot and cold drinks.
Since I am not a stingy person, I am willing to share my secrets today for a small fee of $19.99. Blah LOL :) Just Kidding.
No fee required...just make the recipe for yourself.
Ok, the first one is my go-to in the mornings because it's simple and easy :
Peppermint Cocoa Coffee
This mix is made hot but can be cold if used with ice. I use one package of peppermint cocoa mix with marshmallows. Pour one pouch in a coffee cup and add hot coffee then stir briskly. My final step is to add whip cream, crushed mints, and one peppermint stick.
This drink gives a hint of chocolate with a full shot of coffee mixed in. No need to add sugar because it has that cafe flavor that will make a gal go crazy.
My second favorite coffee is the:
Hot Cookies and Cream
I must admit this concoction may send you straight to the bathroom for about thirty minutes. But, at least you will have enjoyed the world's best cookie coffee.
The items I use for this one are oreos, whip cream, and cold stone sweet cream creamer.
First, I pour myself a dark roasted coffee brew.
Add the whip on top.
Crushed cookies and sprinkles.
I must admit this drink has a frothy and sweet vibe that will surely give a sugar rush.
My final morning drink has a light and airy taste.
Toasted Pumpkin Spice Coffee
This goodness calls for marshmallows, dark coffee, and pumpkin spice creamer.
Add creamer, sugar optional.
Top with large cloud marshmallows.
Use a torch to toast them. Of, course I did not have one at my house. So, I decided to use a regular lighter. And as you can see by the picture above, this cup of jo turned out somewhat ugly.
But I enjoyed it the same.
In conclusion: I am a true lover of rich coffees, and I love mixing things up in my coffee. It is so easy, and I save myself at least 12 bucks when I make it myself at home. Not to mention, homemade coffees taste so good. Yes, I am a southern foodie, but I am also a person who loves a good drink, rather it is coffee, tea, wine, or something in a red cup. Lol jk kinda!
Wee, there you have it, my three coffees that will surely change the game of just having a cup of coffee.
Which one would you try?
Until Next Time See Ya In A Bit!
