Earrings That Compliment My Aging Style (Older Woman) Looks Being Forty-Something

If I had a penny for the times I thought something wouldn't look great on me, I would be rich right now. So, today I am sharing a few of my earring picks that I think will compliment my aging style and any woman who is getting older in life. I used to be the one who played it safe with wearing jewelry.

If I had a penny for the times I thought something wouldn't look great on me, I would be rich right now. So, today I am sharing a few of my earring picks that I think will compliment my aging style and any woman who is getting older in life. I used to be the one who played it safe with wearing jewelry.

Yes, I thought a small pair of studs or hoops was the only way to go. By, all means I was told to wear something not seen when going to work and church. But, now, times have changed, and I think women should play with their style, especially when you are older. You know over the hill! No pun intended. I know it's scary stepping out of the box, but I say go ahead and live a little. Just be wild, free, and a little sassy.

First, Earring pairing I would like to chat about is the Big and Bold One. I think it causes a ruckus when I walk into my salon wearing statement earrings. But, over the years, all my colleagues have gotten used to me being extra. I am over 40 years old, and I want to live a life that adds value to me so I can put that same energy out to others. Wearing wild ear jewelry adds that VA-Voom that I absolutely love, and I am not afraid to pile it on.
Sidenote: When a woman is confident in what she wears, the world will compliment the person behind all that sass. Or they will at least stare darling. :)
The pair I am wearing up top was made by me as a DIY project.

If I like the earrings, I will pair it with anything I pull straight out of my closet. The pair I am wearing up top in the picture cane from Amazon.
The third earring pairing will be all about the chandelier look. I love anything on my ears that dangle, shimmy, and hangs extra long
The third earring pairing will be all about the chandelier look. I love anything on my ears that dangle, shimmy, and hangs extra long. Honestly, long earrings look amazing all by themselves. So, I say go long or go home. When I am wearing earrings that have lots of frills and dills going on, I prefer to wear something a little bit more solid in texture, such as a black dress. Because some ear jewelry is a statement all by itself.
The earrings pictured above were gotten from a vendor at the market.
The next earring pairing is about being simple yet noticeable. Back in the day, I wore hoops because those were my favorite to wear. Now, I go for a hammered, or flat round look that looks elegant yet flashy.

Got the earrings pictured above from Urban Outfitters and Macy's. When it comes to wearing hoops, I say go big and have fun.
Another style that shows off my ageless look is when I wear flowers or some type of animal print earring. I think that style brings up a woman's look, and I love it. Earring Lookbook

I also love a Do It Yourself project, I got these from a craft maker on Amazon. If you look closely at the picture above, they really are a show stopper. Earring Lookbook

Last but not least, I am a fan of the wicker and rainbow style of earrings. Yes, I also got these offline as well. #amazonfinds : Earring Lookbook

I used to be afraid of wearing crazy designs now I embrace it and flaunt it every time I get a chance.
Honestly, earrings that stand out will definitely get compliments and noticed.

In conclusion: These are my favorites when it comes to styles and textures for women to wear over 40.

There are no wrong or right ways when it comes to styling up your ears. I just think if a woman wants to show off her style, then give the world something to stare at or at least talk about.

This post was done all in fun...which one would you wear?

I have more coming your way..so stay tuned!

Until Next Time See Ya In A Bit!
