Adding Wrought Iron And Color To spice up bedroom : Seen First On Bits and Babbles
How I plan to Re-Decorate Our Small Bedroom For Pennies!

Ok, its that time of the year where its time to spice up different parts of our home. Everyone who knows me knows I love color and lots of it. Why, you ask? Because I believe bright reds and yellows make a home feel joyful, colorful and inviting.

Seriously, that is my story, and I am sticking to it. So, I thought I would jump on the blog and share a few of my findings and how I plan to re-brighten my small bedroom space.

Adding iron and color to small bedroom space

Last week I went thrifting, and I can not believe the pieces I have found for my space. Although the theme is styled with lots of colors, I will be adding some wrought iron and vintage pieces from different places found in my city. And yes, I plan to do this by spending less than a few pennies. Watch me do it on the cheap.

I would love to do my entire room with thrifts, but my pillows and bedsheets will be coming from At Home, Target, JC Penney, or TarJay. :) So, I will be on the hunt for sales, deals, and thrills.

But in the meantime, feast your eyes on this iron wall piece that I found for 14.41.

Adding, book shelf and suitcase to bedroom
I've been on the lookout for a bookcase, and yes, I grabbed one from my local second-hand store for 60 bucks. I must admit that was a steep price, but after careful viewing, I think it was worth every dime I spent. It made from solid wood, and it is quite heavy, not to mention the style is fantastic and fits perfectly in my room.

I just recently got my hands on a few suitcase boxes that will add the right amount of contrast to our bedroom.

I am thinking about updating the space to mimic a vintage and modern-day in time. What do you think? How should I do it?

Honestly, I love the old world mixed with the new world style, and I can not wait to show you guys the finished project.

This year I am focusing on things that bring in happiness and joy. That means my style of clothing will reflect that along with more modern bits added to our home.

I will be removing things from my current bedroom and red-decorating with new ideas.

All the wall pictures and nick-knacks will come from the second-hand store.

I do not want to make this a long, drawn-out decorate situation for myself. So, I plan to have this done in the next two weeks. So, stay tuned for the complete look and transformation of our small bedroom.

So, far I love all the yellow hues, but what other colors should I add to my space? Please share? Leave comments below!

Until Next Time See Ya In A Bit!
