A Little Dancing In The Rain!

A Little Dancing In The Rain!

The closer I get to turning 50, the more I realize

life and my time are incredibly precious. I want to live a positive get down happy life. I want to learn the steps of dancing in the rain because that is the true meaning of living life on purpose.

Yes, there comes the point in life where learning to dance has to be a priority to living a blissful life.
For some people finding that joyous spot can be a struggle while some people can jump-start a tractor truck without using keys in the ignition. Sound like a thief, right?

But, as I am getting older, I am learning how to live a keyless life by asking questions and doing my own research when I need to know something.

I am asked all the time by my clients am I afraid of getting any older? Have I accomplished everything I wanted in life?
And my answer is always the same, I used to be worried, but now I am not.

I am learning to take my own life by the horns and create a purpose-filled experience for my family and me. And I can not do that by being afraid of the things I have no control over.

Because no matter how old I become, I still have control over the life I chose to live.

I am one woman who has had to work hard my entire life, that's just the cards I was dealt. But, I have no complaints, and I have never allowed anything to stop me from dreaming.

. Yes, it has taken me longer to get things done, because some doors in life I've had to kick open.

And in reality, that is the case for most people all around the world. So I learned early on that my struggles had to be turned around for doing something positive.
If you are one of my readers who struggles with dancing in the rain, I have a few tips that have been helping me.

A Little Dancing In The Rain!

Take A Leap: Stop being a watcher and start doing something that lights your fire. I am no expert at life, but I do know how it is to watch others move with the wind while I watch and do nothing.  Become a person who is making moves toward real visions and goals. Start living a purpose driving life, by finally doing something other than working all the time. #lifelesson

Go ahead: start that website, join a women's group, start a brand, or just re-brand yourself. We all have something we want to get accomplished so, get to moving.

Side Note: You may or may not have a cheering team, and that is ok. Just take the leap toward doing something that makes you wanna get up and do a little dance.

Ok, here's the deal no matter how young or old any of us become, it will never be the too late to start something new. #lifelesson

Find Your Community: Join a group of like-minded people who want to do the things you want to do. If you like to make jewelry, don't join a motorcycle club looking for inspiration. Take crafting classes, go to craft shows, and market events.

That is how you light your fire by surrounding yourself with people who love doing what you love to do.

When I was in beauty school, I talked with other women who loved doing hair just like myself. I went to hair shows, and I lived at my teacher's desk asking question after question about hair techniques. I was hungry and excited about getting my cosmetology license.

Start A New Dream: It doesn't matter if you are 20 or 120 keep that dream alive. When I was younger, all I had was dreams; now that I am older, those dreams didn't go away. So, guess what I am working on somethings I want to do.

I have at least one thing I want to do within the next 48 months, so guess what I am doing?

So, guess what I am gathering up all the information I need to get it done.
Something new is coming very soon.

If you are not where you want to be, it may be time to stop drop and rollover. Don't give up, just stop and reassess your visions and goals. Drop everything that is stopping you from going forward with your dream plans. Then roll over, get back up and start all over again, and yes, it is that simple.

It's 2020, and giving up can not be an option when trying to succeed late in life.

The one thing I love about the millennials is they are not afraid to make their dreams happen. And they learn everything so quickly without any instructions. That is because most young people are eager and ready to learn something new.

Although I am a GenXer, I am finally learning how to do things very quickly. So, if you see the rain falling, just know I am up and out dancing in it.

2020 for me this year all about finding new adventures and enjoying the process every step of the way.

In conclusion: Although life is moving at the speed of Superman, I still have faith we all get to accomplish everything life has to offer.

Last but not least, some people enjoy living a simple life, and that is ok. Today's blog post is for those who want to get up and start over again. Life is too short not to be living with a purpose. So, let's go and start enjoying the sunshine even when it rains.

There you have it the truth straight from my hard-knock life:)

What are you doing to live your best life?
