A Few Things I Will Be Doing When I Get Out Of Isolation!

Midlife Notes:A Few Things I Will Be Doing When I Get Out Of Isolation!
I am opening up today's babbling post with A Chapter From The Pages Of My Midlife Notes

But first can somebody please send me some internet hugs. Because I have a slight urge to run down the street so the wind could blow through my dirty blonde hair. Yep, I am about two steps from losing my mind and disobeying the law. But, hey, I will NOT because being locked down at home is much better than being in a cell with a strange woman named Bertha. #nopunintended :)

Nonetheless, I thought I would jump on the blog today and share a few non-essential things I will be doing once released from this lockdown.
A Few Things I Will Be Doing When I Get Out Of Isolation! Midlife Notes
Sun Bathing: Yes, I can not wait to go outside and just stare at the sun. I swear we have been experiencing 60-degree weather down here in Texas. Although I am really trying to find a little joy in being in the house. I do realize I have been taking my freedom of going outside way to lightly. It has become evident to me that I need social interaction.

Friends and Loved One's Will Be A Priority. I am so thankful I have my husband (Rico) and our daughters here while being in isolation. Because I couldn't imagine being alone and no one checking on me. Thank goodness for Zoom and social media because people not calling is no excuse.

Embrace being an extrovert and being around human interaction. I can't wait to walk down the hallways of my salon and speak to everybody. I may even talk to the one person I really do not like who works in my building. Yep, I may even hug Mrs. Caroline when I see her. Honestly, I low key miss her loud mouth lying about how much money she makes doing hair. Heck, I just want to laugh at her jokes without getting upset that she is even talking.

I miss those crazy moments that really low-key filled my heart with joy.

Let's, Restaurant Hop
I know I've said when this is all over, I never want to see food again in my life. But, what I really meant was I do not want to cook another meal.

I miss supporting all the Texas and Louisiana food chains. You know the ones where you can get fried fish and a pile of greasy french fries. Yes, Lawd, I miss eating at the best hole in the walls this side of the South. Hey, I look at it as a way of helping the mom and pop shops get back on their feet.
Therefore I am willing to do whatever I can to help our community.

In conclusion: I know a lot is going on in the world at the moment. But, I am determined to find one thing to laugh about in my life.
I think making jokes about my life has helped with any and all lost tears I've had.
No matter what I am going through, I do know somebody is going through also. No matter what happens, 2020 has changed life as we all have known it. But, I know we as a people will make it through this. Hopefully, sooner than later.

Last but not least, sometimes, I have to find things that make me feel good and smile. So, if you need something that will inspire, laugh but not cry. Jump into the comedy section on Netflix, Hulu, or the Roku and search for anything related to comedy.

Here are a few of my favorites

Chris Tucker Live Comedy
Rush 1-2 & 3
Money Talks
The Other Guys with Will Ferrell, Mark Wahlberg & Eva Mendes

Keep in mind these are grown folk movies, but they are funny and a real laugh out loud.

At the end of the day, there is one thing I've learned from being in isolation.

And that is, I will NEVER complain about life again.

I am officially updating my social feed handles to (Life Is Good Because I Said So).

There you have it a few things I will be doing when I get off isolation.

P.S Bertha nor Miss Caroline are real people in my life. And yes, I went to jail when I was younger, that's my story, and I am sticking to it. :) Ha! Have a great day, beautiful people.

What will you do first after this isolation is over? Please share I have the time to read your comments, and I am quite nosey. :)

Until Next Time See Ya In A Bit!
