Saturday To Sunday Rough Hair Day LookBook: The LockDown Scarf Style!
I knew during all those years of Thrift Snooping headscarves, and goofy glasses would come in handy someday.

Hey, beautiful darlings I hope all is well with you and your families. I thought I would skip onto the blog today and babble about having a rough hair day. Being a hairstylist, I do have my perks when it comes to keeping my short mane tamed. But, there are times when I do not want to do anything with my hair except pull it back and wrap it down with a scarf.
Since we are on a house lockdown, I thought I would share how I am holding down Saturday to Sunday by sharing my lockdown hairstyle.

SideNote: I usually wear one or two different dresses that can be re-washed and re-worn. You guys have already seen all my black outfits. I will be posting more, but who really has time to dress up during a real lock-in.

But, I know as women, we want to find ways that will keep us looking and feeling a little groomed.

So, here are my bits on looking stylish when going to the grocery store or relaxing at home. Also, keep in mind scarfs can protect a hairstyle, but it can also aid in looking stylish when having a rough hair day. All the items listed below were found while thrift snooping the second-hand, consignment, and resale shops.

Saturday: I went to the grocery store. Since the weather was warm, I wanted to wear something that made me feel happy. So, I grabbed my green blue and white polka dot scarf and a pair of big and bold white shades.

Sunday: Since we couldn't go to church, I still wanted to dress up for online streaming services. So, I brushed my hair back a little and popped on a red polka dot scarf and my deep cat-eye shades. Got both those from Waco, Texas thrift store while visiting the Magnolia Room. Nope, I did not have the opportunity to meet Chip & Joanna, but their cupcakes were Amazing nonetheless.

Monday: I wore a brown and stripe scarf with open face glasses so I could make a few videos and take some pictures. See how I can create different looks with my second-hand scarfs and glasses.

Tuesday: I was bored, so I tied down my hair with a blue silk scarf, and my John Lennon inspired glasses.

Wednesday: I decided to tie my orange printed scarf around and wear a pair of brown clout shades. Found these from the consignment shop.

Thursday: I wanted to go for a walk around the neighborhood, so I use a big scarf that could tie in the back.

Friday: By now, it's time to wash my hair at home. But I need to make a quick Target run for some junk food. So, I am wearing a black pair of sunglasses with my last scarf for the week in blue that has a lot of print.

In conclusion: Dressing up doing a lockdown is not vital, but as a hairstylist, I wanted to share ways that I am protecting my hair. There are many other ways to protect my hair, but scarves and shades are my go-to because it is stylish enough for me to wear to work.
