Oh, hello friends, I am here on the blog babbling again today, but this time, I am in shambles. First, I want to publicly announce
I am not ready for summmmmeeeerrrrrrr! Now, hear me out before you hang up the phone on me. This year's summmmmeeeerrrrrrr looks may be coming with a slight downgrade. Ok, here's the deal, every store I went into these last few weeks have had nothing for me to choose from. Most of my favorite stores are not shipping out right now. And my local stores have a mash-up of winter clothes and a mix of fall. And we are not even close to any of those colder months.
But, never fear I have come up with a few ideas that will change the game to daily outfits.
Now, I am no fashionista, but after coming out of a style rut, I think I've learned a few things or two.
I Am Not Ready For Summmmmeeeerrrrrrr!
Firstly, I will admit I only have long sleeves at the moment, and according to my Texas app, we will be seeing 90-degree weather all summer. Since I can not find any cute summer wear at the moment. I am going to soup up what I already have in my closet. So, today I am starting with a long floral dress I've been wearing for the last two years. Don't worry, the fabric is very cool, and the entire dress is free-flowing. On Saturday, I wore it with my black rocker booties, and my thrifted glasses and handbag.

By Monday, I had to grab the last bits my daughter Chloe needed to graduate high school. So, heck yeah, I put back on that same ole' dress snatched straight from the dryer. Since I was going to be hanging with my 17-year old daughter. I decided to dress like the coolest mom on the block. I never go by fashion trends so, I felt beautiful wearing the white thrifted sunglasses that I paired with my second-hand patch purse. I must admit  I was embarrassing my daughter by acting really weird and funkadelic.

I Am Not Ready For Summmmmeeeerrrrrrr!
So, by Wednesday, I was pooped from running all week, and I wanted to look chilled while hanging out in Target. So, Bam, I wore my yellow clout sunglasses and my leather second-hand crossbody bag.

Did I mention I wore the same gold and black earrings all week?

In conclusion: Most stores are not able to re-stock their stores at the moment. And I understand that, so that is why I will be re-wearing what I already have at home. And for some reason, I am cool with that.

Life is too good to be worried about the clothes I am going to wear. I guess it really doesn't matter to me anymore, because I really do wear what I want when I want.

Even if it means I am going to wear that same outfit for the next three days.

Lastly, as women, we already wear ten different hats, so worrying about what to wear shouldn't be one of them. After coming out of my style struggle, I learned early on how to accessorize my clothes to my liking. So, I hope you guys like the way I styled my one dress. I am all about chic, cute, and comfort. So, ladies, if you only have one dress, just accessorize and re-wear it  50 zillion times.

WOW! I just may be ready in time for Summmmmeeeerrrrrrr!

Are you ready?
