Showing Off A Few Quirky Thrift Bits And Favorites!

Showing Off A Few Quirky Thrift Bits And Favorites!
Polka dots, green jewelry, a red dress, and a pair of doc martins. Yep, I am officially showing off a few of this week's quirky thrift bits and favorites.
I can not believe I am about to step out of the house this week without any rules ahead. If it matters to anyone, I am getting all spiffy for my daughter's Chloe's high school graduation. So, you know ya girl had to get dressed to the 9's or at least try to look good without embarrassing my family.

We'll you know I can go a wee-bit far when it comes to my style and trying to stay current with what's happening in the fashion world of thrift.
But anyhoo, let me jump right on into all the things I tried on for my big daughter's day. I had a choice of wearing one outfit in two different ways. Stay tuned till the end, and I will show the exact outfit I paired with my thrifted favorites.
First, up is I am wearing a red dress with half-black doc martin boots, which I paired with a pair of quirky, colorful glasses, a colorful polka dot scarf, and a lime green necklace.

My plan was to only wear a necklace, scarf, and shades, but I couldn't resist adding on a few banging bangles. I think adding those few items really hyped up my outfit.

The next set of thrift bits and favorites may have been the look I was going for. This look fell toward a more vintage vibe. The red polka dot scarf paired with the polka shades and a vintage necklace looked perfect for Marilyn Monroe herself.

Oh, and I must mention I grabbed a cute pair of chandelier earrings to finish the look off.

As for my boots, I wasn't quite feeling that look with my dress so, I opted for look number one.

In conclusion: With all the things that are happening all over the globe. It sure felt good to dress up and hang with my family. Life has a funny way of turning out to be just fine, and I am thrilled to just say that out loud. Today, I became a proud mama as I watched my little girl get her diploma today. It has bee two months and a half since my family has been out of the house. And I must admit it was more fun than I have had in a long time. So, I will say it out loud congratulations to all the 2020 graduates around the world.

Last but not least, I tried really hard not to upstage my daughter's, but I couldn't help it. My quirky thrift bits and favorites got a whole lot of compliments. So, as you can see in the picture above, the open-toed shoes paired better than my doc martins.

What do you think about the look I wore to Chloe's graduation?

P.S. It was all in fun:)

Once again, congratulations Chloe and all the other graduates of 2020. I must admit this has been a firecracker of a year.

Until Next Time See Ya In A Bit!
