4 Same Ole' Wears: If I Don't Skip Sunday Service!
If I had a nickel for every time Sunday rolled around, and I decided to skip going. Yep, I am a sinner sometimes, or shall I just call it for what it is. I was just plum lazy by sleeping in and watching Netflix for hours. Oh bummer, I can sense the internet judgment.:) But, wait, hear me out and judge at the end of tonight's babbles.
Since being in the house for three months, I really do miss getting dressed and going for Sunday service praise and worship. Although our church streams every weekend, I realize I loathe for some type of people interaction. Yes, I miss real people gathering together singing, dancing, and sometimes an occasional shout. No matter what happens on Sunday, I was sure to leave the house filled with joy, and a sense of everything in life will be ok. And honestly, I am ready for the economy to get fully jump-started.
Yesterday I went through all my clothes and separated what I plan on keeping and what I plan to donate. It was at that moment I started trying on everything in sight and under a pile of dresses. I discovered an old vintage mod dress that I found at my local thrift store for 4 dollars. Then I stumbled upon my Gianni Bini shoes that I got thrifted for 14.99. I'm not sure why I never wore that dress or those shoes. But, after playing dress-up, I saw 4 same handbags that I could wear to church with one dress on repeat.
Side note: Each handbag is second-hand from my last few thrift snooping shopping sprees. So, I figure on first Sunday I can wear a brown simple bucket bag with that same ole' outfit. The next Sunday, if I do not skip, I will wear my thrifted square matchbox style handbag. Trust me, that old thing is a good conversation piece with strangers. I am often asked how do I keep things from falling through the cracks of the purse? Ha! and no, I do not have a solid answer I just never lose anything when carrying purse #2. On the third Sunday, I just may rock a tri-colored clutch handbag. And on the 4th Sunday, I will be wearing a vanilla tweed bag, which happens to not be my favorite. But hey, I am wearing one dress with 4 different handbags.

And here is my theory broken down by switching out only my handbags. Ha! how genius is that? Or is that just me being a simple country bumpkin. Either way, this method will help me not skip any Sunday services because of not having anything to wear.
So, I think that is proof for me not to skip Sunday service. lol:)
In conclusion: I am loving playing with different ways to wear my clothes for Sunday service. Please do not be alarmed I do not miss church because of nothing to wear. I miss it because I know it's ok to use Sundays to recharge and pray at home if I would like. This was a fun video to film, and I hope you guys enjoy every inch of it. But, most of all I hope it inspires you to wear one dress and 4 different handbags. Yep, that's a look I love sharing and copying.
Which look was your favorite?

Every which way you chose to style that dress came out to be a while other outfit in my opinion! I really loved the third choice that bag just brought out the neutral and subtle tones of the dress!
