Joyful Bits

That Friday Feeling!

That Friday Feeling!
It's something about getting to Friday that feels absolutely amazing. Wouldn't you agree?  It may be because it's the last day of the week and the beginning of the weekend. No matter what the reason is I am always ready to get That Friday Feeling going.
Yep, Fridays are my jam, and for those that don't mind me saying so, Yes, I've got that Friday feeling. You know that feeling when you are about to quit your job, but you tell the boss, "See Ya Monday."
Yes, that's the vibe I have for this weekend as of right now. A relaxing and doing what I want is a recipe for two days of rest and eating everything non-healthy. :) LOL Don't judge me, I am living in my truth and freedom.

Since I am ready for the weekend, I thought I would jump on the blog and help you guys get that good ole' Friday feeling as well.
That Friday Feeling!

First, I will be drowning my thoughts and life in a pot of community coffee. Since I can't stand waiting in the drive-through of my favorite coffee shop. I thought it would be wise if I just sit down, make coffee, and plan out my two days off.

Now, realistically I usually have two consecutive days off back to back. But, since this weekend I do, I am making a quick do and don't list.
And it goes something like this:

Along with my coffee, I decided to toast two frozen waffles and top with butter whip cream, bananas, and pecans. Yes, darling, I plan to get wild this weekend so you may not want to miss a post.

That Friday Feeling!

The other day my daughters challenged me in a game of who can hula hoop the longest. Of course, I lost, but I blame it on the stiffness in my hips.
And since I am a sore loser, I am going back to the park to reclaim my title as the hula-hoop queen.

That Friday Feeling!
I do not know about you guys, but I rarely cook a big meal on the weekends. I use this time to catch up on all my favorite comfort foods, like pizza, ice cream, cookies, and cakes. In fact, I will be making something sweet this weekend with my family in the kitchen. I can't promise it will be Instagram worthy, but I will share and show it to you guys sometime before Monday morning.
Will you be eating out or cooking?
That Friday Feeling!
As much as I hate to go inside of a store this weekend, Ya girl needs some new make-up. So, can anyone guess where I will be? I really want to try a matte foundation, any recommendations, please let me know in the comments below.

That Friday Feeling!
One thing I do plan to do this weekend is clean all my eyelashes and face brushes. Last, week I did toss out everything I used up over the last two months. But, I need a few more skincare items as well. But, hey Rome wasn't built in a day, so I will not be going near the beauty aisles. Nope, I will not do it on this marvelous and sunny weekend.
That Friday Feeling!
Lastly, I am a sucker for ole' school movies and shows; by the end of Friday, you can find me in my room looking at Good Times, The Jefferson's, and the Martin Show. By Sunday, I should be watching everything else on Life Time. For some reason, that channel has a way of snatching the remainder of any hours I have left for an enjoyable weekend. Anyone else starts looking at a lifetime movie but finds themselves going down the rabbit hole of watching every single thing that comes on back to back.?

I can't be the only one.

My few bits: Life is short, and as of late, I am finding the dumbest things to be happy and joyful about. I am no longer waiting for a good life; I am creating small moments that build up my life. You know those moments that make people who have it all wanna steal. It's called a continent in the space where I am, and I will offer no more apologies for doing so. At the end of the day, the world will take everything it needs to be fulfilled. For example, the job takes at least 8 hours from me, the kids take 12 hours, the hubs wants the last 4 hours that are left in a day.
And I haven't even included the church, friends, and family. WOW, it's just not enough of me or YOU to go around. So, my Friday's are off-limits, and I will do exactly what I want to and my God it feels freeing to say that.

In conclusion: We all only have one life so, I ask How will you enjoy a portion of it? My Friday's may be boring to some, and that is ok but,
Life is not about doing big things but more about enjoying the small bits that come along.

What will you be doing on your Friday?

Until Next Time See Ya In A Bit!

P.S See Ya'll Tomorrow. I do not know the time but just know I will be on time:)

Have a great weekend by any means necessary.

  1. My friday has passed but I spent the day thrifting, organizing my jewelry and watching my favorite tv show! Happy weekend!
