Trying New Things: Hair Color And A Sugar Plum Macchiato!

Trying New Things: Hair Color And A Sugar Plum Macchiato!
I do not know about you but 2021 is going to be all about trying new things and enjoying every bit of life. And there will be no
apologies for doing such a good thing. LOL:) No pun intended!

Life is moving fast and I know it is more to living a purposeful life than working a 9-5 job paying bills and dying. Yep, that may sound a wee-bit harsh but that is the reality for so many people all around the world. So, this year I am making a conscious decision to get my butt up and start shaking and busting a move. So, I thought I would just stop by and share a few of the things I am doing right now.

Trying New Things: Hair Color And A Sugar Plum Macchiato!

First, I wanted to spice up my beauty routine so I did just that. I colored my hair bubble gum pink with dark tones of dark pink. Being a hairstylist it's a no-brainer for us to wear crazy cool colors and styles.  So, after spending years being a bombshell blonde I decided to spice it up and I must admit I feel GAWD.

Then I have started setting more dates outside of my home with family and friends. Today I am having an iced coffee at Dunkin Donuts with my daughter Carey. Of course, I must admit she has gotten me hooked on this Year's holiday drink called Sugar Plum Macchiato.  It is purple with a nutty taste of caramel and other sweet notes that make up a delicious enjoyable drink.

And yes I am enjoying eating good food and a whole lot of junk. Almost three times a week I am grabbing the snackin Bacon and stuffed cream cheese minis as well. I told yall this year I am going buck wild with the things I want to do in life.

I've been working on a few things that I will be unveiling very soon. So, do not miss it!

In the meantime and in-between time here are my bits for the week.

I learned something from our pastor yesterday. If you come into 2021 with someone else's dreams and ideas. You are already defeated. If you are not living in your purpose and seeking your own personal passions. You will be defeated all of 2021.

Just in case you missed that. Here's my tip on that note. It's time to level up and start enjoying the life that YOU want to live. Find your passion, get up, and do something no one around you is doing.

Who cares if you fail, those same people will be watching you get back up and start over again.

I was once told by a family member. Tangie you are always doing something. I knew then she was sitting back watching me fail. That is how I knew she notices when I get back up and start all over again.

So, no matter how many times you have to start, just START.

Besides it's not the start button that goes forward in a car, it's to start button plus putting your food on the peddle that goes forward.

So, join me in not allowing 2021 to be a year of second-guessing or talking to people who will never understand or support you.

I lost a lot of loved ones last year and I finally awake. My life is so much more than being basic and I know you feel the same about your life. I was born to be an artsy person and that would explain why I am always dreaming and seeking things that are far out.

so, here's the real deal. No one cares about your dreams, so why not go after them with everything in your heart.

Go ahead try new things, little small, and big. Living a good life doesn't always mean jumping jets going to London. It could be a day out sightseeing, grabbing a coffee, and gossiping with your best friend. Having a Sunday dinner with the family, and not taking a bath until 12 noon.
Whatever brings you joy then do that.

I know you guys have been waiting on my upcoming project. But hold on it's coming this weekend. I wanted to share sooner but that is one lesson I've finally learned recently. Never tell the net before the dream is secured. But trust me it's something everyone has said I should have been doing. This time ya girl got it.

I am rooting for you and the new things I know you will be trying out this year. Become unstoppable and Never Give Up!

Life is good and I intend to reap all the benefits before it's too late.

What are you planning to do new this year?

Until Next Time See Ya In A Bit!
xo Tangie

I read this quote from Denzel Washington's page on Instagram.

" Just because you don't share it on social media, doesn't mean you're not up to big things. Live it and stay low key. Privacy is everything!

  2. First off, Yassss ma'am to this hair.

I took much needed time off last year because everything around me was just too distracting with covid and what our government has going on. I clocked-out mentally and shut myself out on every social media platform and had to re-focus my energy on other things. I'm excited to see what new things you will bring this year.

    1. Let me tell you it was much needed for so many reasons. And girl I will do it again if I must. Social media is for entertainment, growing a business or inspiration. Once we find our groove we will post and go. I am so glad you took that time off as well. So, lets kick 2021 in the but by doing all the things we want to do. It is easier to share those things and forget who doesn't like it:) Sending hugs and kisses byeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!
