I Almost Ruined My Valentines Dress!

I Almost Ruined My Valentines Dress!
Valentine's Day is back amongst us again, and this year I am excited about it. And here's why 2020 was a rough year for so many of us.

But since we're in 2021, I am trying to focus on the small things in my life. You know, like I am still here, so why not make the best of it. Besides, I am all cried, and I am really focusing on praying more and living a purposely fulfilled life. Now that I have gotten that off my chest, let's jump into today's blog post, shall we?

If you have been following me for a while, you already know I love myself a good DIY. We'll I used to, but now I am working on a side hustle. More on that later.:)

Anyhoot, since the hubs and I may not go out and celebrate Valentine's day at a restaurant. I am thinking about doing a full day date at home. I will be starting with my outfit or the lack thereof. I am going to rework a dress I already have in my closet.

Yes, Darling, I grabbed an old pink dress and added a few splashes of paint. I must admit I made a few mistakes, but I kept going as if I was a picasso painter. I wanted to be all fancy and thangs, but I realized I was no real painter. So, I did the basics, which ended up just being a few Xs and O's.

It was nothing outside of perfect, but I love it. Although my penmanship wasn't all that when it came to drawing.  I will still be rocking my painted dress on Valentine's Day.

And here are the end results pictured both at the top and bottom. How do I look?

Also, are you celebrating Valentine's this year with the one you love? No matter what you do, just live your best life and have fun doing it. No permission needed to do so:)

Until Next Time. See Ya In A Bit!
